... show and tell

... is finally here and no matter where in the world you are playing from, the BSBP is well under way! I just love the soup ingredients my partner Lesley sent me from the UK - they were a real departure from my usual colour, shape and component "routine" so it was a "real" challenge in so many ways! Putting together something I was finally happy with has kept me busy over the past few weeks ... stringing and re-string till I finished this!

... gorgeous multi faceted Czech beads - yum!

From my previous post, you can see that I have not used all the componenets but I did substitute others that mixed and matched .... I used my wirework skills to create a purpose made fancy head pin made from 20 guage copper wire to match the textured copper toggle, which I just luv!
I am happy with my final product - now to head off to buy something "nice" to wear with it! Thanks Lori for all your hard work in coordinating world wide players - I will enjoy my vino tonight as I start my blog hop to check out what other have created!

I am SO sorry for being late -- today our internet provider decided to crash. My stress level is through the roof, to say the least! They're still working on it, but it's like dial-up.

That toggle is the BOMB. LOVE it. And orange is not seen that much in jewelry, but interestingly, when I have a piece on my table to sell at shows, it tends to go. Try it with turquoise and wood in a bracelet -- that's been the latest favorite of my customers.

You did a fabulous job!

I hope you participate again!

Love, Lori

This is such a bold statement piece and you did an incredible job. I'm not used to working with such large components either and can totally see why this kept you busy for weeks.
