... afternoon tea

... was a welcomed break (mental) from the bead soup blog party that has had me totally consumed for the past few weeks. It was an amazing experience and I have enjoyed blog-hopping to check on what everyone else has made. My list of blog followers has increased and I would like to extend a warm Aussie welcome new readers of my blog!

... pear cake - served with yogurt and espresso - yum!

The reality kick hit today as we packed all our gear for the Sydney Craft Expo and drove it to the freight pick up point for delivery. With less than a week to go, I realised that I still have so much more to get through.
My "post-it" note lists are pasted all over my work place - gentle reminder of all the things I still need to do. Earring kits, kits for my ring class and bead sets are still on the agenda for this week!

... earring kits - complete luxury for the jewellery maker!

This week, I was humbled to read a little 'write-up" all about me! You can read here for yourself in the current edition of the Affordable Inspiration newsletter.

On Saturday, the Brisbane Bead Makers are getting together for the Beads of Courage Flame off. I am really looking forward to catching up with the rest of our group as it feels like its been a long, time since we all met.

We are also raising funds for the Queensland Flood victims who suffered loss and hardship in the recent floods. Will post photos and updates of our session next week. Till then, take care ~ Liz x

Oh Liz that looks so good. Sure wish I could be sitting there with you having a piece. Good luck on your show.

Afternoon tea sounds great! Oolong for me, no espresso.
