... new cabs etc. etc

It's been a crazy week at my house over the past 7 days. I have so many jobs on the go that no sooner do I finish one project, it's time to finish something else. I'm starting to panic that I will not have it all together for the weekend Designer Markets!
Yesterday I managed to slump some more cabs ... I'm really loving their smooth, round shapes but they're a really bugger to photograph! I wanted to add them to my etsy shop today but the photos are not coming together.
In the mean time, my g/f Margie is doing some fabulous things with Cabs and seed beads. Margie's blog this week features a cabochon I made a few weeks ago ... hop on over and have a look!

If you're looking for cabs, check back into the later on. Hopefully, I will have some more cabs up for grabs - other new stock includes new murrini ear studs. Have a great week - ciao for now - Liz x

.... busy, busy, busy

... I'm absolutely thrilled to be taking part in the Bris Style Indie Designer Markets this coming weekend. I have been making, making and more making in the hope to have lots of new stock on show.
Looking forward to seeing you all there - come along and see what some of the fabulous Brisbane based designers have on show for you!

... violets and blue

Last week I spent all my time playing with my new kiln, scoring and cutting small square of coloured glass and playing around with endless mix and match colour combos.
I am really excited to be showing these new pieces. The surface is soooooo smooth but shows deep layers of melted glass chips that form beautiful colour patterns when cooled. Head over to my etsy store for more details.

This week I am thrilled to announce that my jewellery can now be found at Main Street Gallery in beautiful town of Montville in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. The gallery will stock a selection of bracelets, earrings and necklaces. If you're out and about exploring the beautiful shops and cafes, make sure you stop by and have a look! Have a wonderful week - ciao, Liz x

... when it rains, it pours

If you're in the Brisbane area you may have noticed that it's been raining now for some time. Personally, I love it! I get to spend much of my time in my studio and I become self absorbed in my music, colours and my glass - gets the creative juices going - yum!

I am thrilled to have my work featured twice this week on other people's write-ups.
Firstly, Australian Etsy has little blurb on my pale blue hollows. If you haven't had a chance to check out this blog yet - you should! It show cases a myriad of Aussie talent and has links to other useful and interesting websites.
.... and VanillaPixie has also featured my blue hollow earrings on her "Cold as Ice" treasury. Thanks so much Carley... I always feel a bit special when other people take the time out to high-light my work.

The earrings that feature in my blog this week were added to my etsy shop this week - hop over and have a look. Ciao for now ~ Liz
