... its been a long time

... since I last wrote. This is a crazy time of the year and no matter how organised I think I am, everything seems to bottleneck from October onwards - this year has been no exception!
Lots of good things have happened in the meantime though and so now's a good time to be sharing them with you!
... sterling silver hammered longs - Noosa bound!
I am thrilled to announce that there are two more outlets that will be stocking my hand made glass beaded jewellery. Hearts and Mind is a gorgeous little gift store run by Julie and Greg on Hastings Street in Noosa. Pop in and say hello if you're holidaying on the Sunshine coast this summer! The other newly opened outlet is  "With Max and Me" - Leura, Blue Mountains district in N.S.W.
We are putting the finishing touches on our teaching schedule for the Albany Summer School in Western Australia, where  we will be teaching from January 7th - 11th.
Places have filled fast and only a few vacancies are available. If you are interested in learning to make glass beads,  or would like to refresh your skills and learn new ones we are offering a one and two day workshop, along with a 2 day course in Flame enameling during the first week.
... back to "basic foundations" - tutorial for beginner bead makers

Australia's first on line Digital Beading Magazine has now been launched and I am proud to say that not only will my work be featured in the first edition but I will also be contributing regularly via a series of lampwork tutorials, specifically aimed at newbie bead makers or those who just want to reconnect with the Basic Foundation of this art-form. The lampwork tutorials will be a regular feature from the second edition onwards. We have some fabulous sponsors who have jumped on board with some fabulous freebies and giveaways!

Hope you are enjoying your Sunday, wherever you are and whatever you're doing - back some time soon next week :)
