... post show calm

... always gives me time to reflect. The Brisbane Craft Expo was a hectic event and had me very frantic for a few days. Now that the dust has settled, I've had a chance to think about the whole thing and I have decided that as crazy as these shows are for me, I really love getting out and connecting with my customers and friends who, for a long, long time have encouraged and supported me. Thanks again to Mad Monnie, who was my stand partner. We had lots of fun (not there was much time for it!)

... one of my fave. colour combinations!

I wanted to share some photos of my workshops with you. I ran the Funky Floral Ring workshop at both the Sydney and Brisbane shows. They were very popular and gave students the chance to learn basic wire wrapping techniques.

... some students were extra clever and modified the basic instructions to create some pretty amazing pieces. This ring, made by Kim was just gorgeous! Kim exchanged her thin flower disc beads for a fun glass button and broadened the band to made this lovely ring - I want!

Once I replenish my bead stock, these ring kits will be available in my e-store. I will let you when! Have a lovely week everyone! I am spending my time today making custom orders, packing and posting. Talk soon, Liz !

I love this green ring Liz! Really lovely. I have been looking at a lot of your 'old' work lately - I have been wearing a blue and green cupcake around my neck and receiving lots of compliments, and using some of my pot stands and plates this weekend from your former life of ceramics!!

Glad you had time to take a deep breath. Show are so hard to do, but sometimes it's the time when I see my closest friends.
Love the rings. So cool.
