... well, here it is

... my wall calendar! It's looking very clean and uncluttered sans important dates, appointments and meetings, all of which have kept my very busy this year. This may not be the case for very long though, but it was a wonderful feeling to wipe away all of the year's hard work in about 5 minutes flat!

.... new and exciting things to come

I am patiently awaiting (not) the arrival of my copy of Handmade Living. I am thrilled to have some of my work featured in this gorgeous book - hope it makes it to my letter box today! The book was the brain-child of Canberra authoress Tania McCartney, Julie Nichols and Tina Snerling (Brisbane based designer and illustrator)

The official launch was December 4 and if you're lucky enough to be in the Canberra area, you may have attended several planned "book launch" events. Talented Brisbane girl Kellie Christie is also another artist whose work is featured in the book. Kellie is hosting a book launch this coming Friday night at the Avid Reader bookstore: 193 Boundary Street, West End: 5.30pm - 8pm. Please rsvp here if you wish to attend.

Have a great week everyone - I am attending the U2 360 concert in Brisbane tonight - am very excited and cannot even think about beads, beading and jewellery etc.(for the first time ever!)

How exciting for you - I hope the book arrives in your letterbox without delay. Maybe I should give Santa a hint for my stocking!

U2 were amazing - great sound and light show!

Maybe today Robyn - tap, tap, tap!

Nice of you to stop by Tania. The photos from your weekend market make me want to jump on a plane and come down to collect my copy in person!
