... sorry, couldn't resist but I wanted to tell you how great the weekend workshop was! We had a lovely time on Saturday.... skills ranged from absolute beginners thru to those that had already taken a few workshops before. Some pics below tell the story .....

The rest of the weekend was pretty good too - house guest who provided good company and lots of laughs, Christian cooking and an extra long chat with my sister in London on Sunday night was a lovely was to wrap up a fabulous end to the busy week that was!

The Brisbane Bead and Gem Show is fast approaching and preparations are well under way (mostly). I always panic with events like this - too much stock, not enough stock, variations in stock, etc. etc. What I do know though is that I will running some workshops over the course of show. I will be hosting 3 workshops on Earring Design, one on each day of the show. The cost of the workshops are $30 and includes your choice of hand made art-glass beads, s/s findings and quality silver ear wires. The earrings are a sample of the beads and findings included in the kits. Kool, dont you think? Well, I will have more updates later this week along with some additional news and info on the show.
