... testing, testing 1 - 2 - 3

.... 4 and many more! For the past few months I have been testing some new bead release products for Kerry from Affordable Inspirations. For those of you who are "non-glass bead makers" it is the white clay based substance that coats the mandrels and stops the beads sticking to the stainless steel rods.

This product is an essential component in the bead making process and for bead makers, it can often be a "life or death" situation if your bead has come away during the making or worse still, has stuck to the mandrel and doesn't come off!
Anyway - I was absolutely thrilled to have been part of the "testing" process that took place over many weeks. Kerry has worked closely with Robin Foster (the original owner) to produce an Australian Foster Fire product - made with an all Australian content.
New work from me this week includes a focus on RED beads. I just love the way a piece of red jewellery can make a statement and just finish off that special outfit.

My new "Red Rouge" collection will be available at the Red Hill Gallery from June 1. More news later this week - see you then, Liz x

Thanks for the informative post - bead making is obviously a lot more complicated than I suspected. I LOVE the red beads!

Bead making can be relatively easy. Personally, I love the challenging sorts!
