... so much to do

.... such little time! Just how much can a girl do? Lots and lots it seems! Mind you, I have very little time these days to do to the boring things like housework and feels as thou I spend every waking minute in my studio. But the hard work is very rewarding ... and this week's news is no exception.

A few days ago I found out my work will be published later this year in a book currently being compiled by the very talented author Tania McCartney. Tania is one of the founding members of Handmade Living who's pet project has recently launched as Canberra's Handmade Living ... a designer collective. I am soooooooooooooo excited, but of course the hard work really starts now and I need to go back thru my visual library to find images that I will submit....

... new work for show and tell!

The other exciting news this week is that I am going to be taking part in a Brisbane City Council incentive Saviours of the lost Arts ... a project that promotes artisans and their work. I will have a stand at the Craft Fair in King George Square on June 1, 2010 and I look forward to meeting you! More details to come, but in the mean time you can read up about it here.

... new beads in this seasons colours

So, this is my news for now. I'm back in the studio tomorrow but heading up to Noosa for the weekend for some well earned rest and play. Enjoy the weekend - ciao!
