... making new friends

... and re-visiting old ones has kept me pretty busy this week. Short as it was, I still managed to get myself into mad spin when things didn't go according to plan.

Earlier this week I caught up with a forum friend who "materialised" into a 3D figure from the usual printed text I'm used to seeing her as. Lovely to meet you Gail - and glad to finally be able to put a face to an avatar! Hope our visit was the first of many to come!

ocd - friendly favourites keep my busy
Lately, I have re-visited making this type of bead. They were some of the very first beads I ever made and have remained a firm favourite of mine. Of course the variations, colour combinations and styles have changed over the years but I still keep coming back to them.

Originally published as "salmon eggs" by the very talented Andrea Guarino (who's workshop later this year I am attending ...yippeeeeee) they have kept me obsessed and in focus for many, many hours. Thank you Andrea - I just love these!

Yesterday we celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary. Time sure has flown fast. Feels like it was only yesterday that we met. Je t'aime Christian!

flowers from my french boy!

... and finally. being able to wrap, pack and post my gallery order today has made me a very happy girl. Looking forward to some family time with my boys this weekend as well as a visit to Thea's print shop .... fun, fun, fun! Have good one :) Liz x

Thanks so much Robin. It's been an amazing journey. The bell flower beads are made with traditional Muranse tools - they really are beautiful!
