... Brisbane Stitches and Craft Show.

Are you going to the Brisbane Stitches & Craft Show? It's been a fantastic start to the 5 day event.

Lots and lots of people and so many stalls to visit. It's been lovely to meet people who I've only know via my blog and my links to BrisStyle. Thank you so much for taking the time to find me and introduce yourself.

I handed out sooooo many flyers and vouchers today. Did you get one? Heres a little more information.....

The BrisStyle team are running a special offer during the show! Keep an eye out for the lovely ladies sporting a BrisStyle badge during the Stitches & Craft Show. If you spot one don't be shy, she has a 10% discount voucher for you to use in participating BrisStyle stores. Participating BrisStyle stores can be found here: BrisStyle

Terms and Conditions
1. Offer can only be used once per participating BrisStyle Etsy seller. So, you can use the one voucher to shop in multiple participating BrisStyle Etsy shops but only once in each shop.

2. Discount does not include Postage.

3. Discount does not include custom orders only stock listed in shops.

4. To Obtain the Discount:
Simply write the code that is listed on your voucher in the message to seller section of your sale, and when you have finished the checkout process, don't click the Payment button straight away. The seller will email you a revised PayPal invoice that will include your 10% discount, and you can simply click the PayPal button in the email to make your payment. Easy!

In the mean time I wanted to show you some of my new styled beads.... made using a new press I am testing for my friend John (more on this later) and some hand pulled murrini I made last week. I love the blue and ivory combination - takes me to the beach every time *** sigh***

.... the weekend that was.

....was a very busy one! Lovely to catch up with family and friends in Noosa over the weekend. Kath and Jeff were in town for a jazz "do" and along for the ride was Kym and the lovely Maureen, all the way from OC, USA! Lots of fun, too much to drink and eat and fab jazz on a lazy Sunday afternoon!

Preparations for the forthcoming Stitches and Craft Show are coming along nicely (not!) To be honest with you, I'm in a state of panic, as usual. I'm sure it will all iron itself out this week, but until then, it wouldn't be a show without the obligatory hair pulling and nail biting.
On today's list of things to do was to start sorting and tag all the beads - I didn't get very far but I did manage to package up these little lovelies though! My "to-do" list is long and boring, so more updates on this later on in the week.

.... busy again!

Did you all have a relaxing Easter? Our wet 4 day Easter long weekend meant lots of household chores and finishing off some long overdue projects. It was also a time for relaxing with the boys - something we don't get to do much of these days.

I would like to announce that this year, I will be exhibiting at the Brisbane Stitches and Craft Show. Mad Monnie and I will again be sharing a stall and hope to see you all there. Our stall #111 is situated towards the back of the exhibition space and close to the food area. So, while you're heading on down for a quick drink and a bite to eat, make sure you stop by to check out all the lovely hand made art glass beads!

... something for everyone!

This week I've been making some cupcakes - glass ones of course! These are completely fat free and come topped with red glace cherries!
Most of these lovelies will go into earring kits - the cupcake beads together with all the sterling silver findings and ear wires that you'll need to make yourself a swish pair of cupcake earrings! The others are going to be sold as bead pairs in my etsy shop. Hop on over and have look! I also have some new silver cored beads that fit nicely onto Pandora and Biagi bracelet systems.

Did you get caught out today? It was April 1st ~ traditionally a day (or 1/2 day) filled with pranks. I heard some silly things on the radio this morning, and then quickly realised that some of us were being had!
