enamel fun

... Over the past few weeks I have been experimenting with new enamel colours and shapes.
I've  been waiting for a large shipment of enamels to arrive that have been caught up with Christmas mail.

The new colours are amazing and I cant wait to play a bit more!

I have a gazillion ideas I'm itching to try - these bullet shaped beads and small rounds are going to be part of some new jewellery!

In a week or so, we are heading back to Western Australia where we will be teaching again at the Albany Summer School. I know Ive spoken about this in the past but with less than a week to go, I am beginning to feel the pressure of the "last minute" hustle!

.... warm shades for the red hot kit!

In the inaugural edition of the new Digital Beading Magazine I wrote an article introducing the new enameling craze currently sweeping the world.
To coincide with this, we launched our new kit necklaces. They contain all the components and materials you need to make you very own enameled necklace.
You can see what they look like here - these are the colours for the red hot kit! Warm shades oh pink, yellow, orange and red!

... and last but not least, I have finally been able to add new and exciting enamels to the estore today.

Brilliant blues, golden yellow and the elusive Bitter Green are now available. I have also added a new product - Golden Clear which adds a lovely golden sheen to your final layer of enamel!
For a limited time, we are also discounting our enamel beads. Pop into the estore to check out new and sale items!

I feel like I've spent most of the day at the computer today - up dating the estore after a busy Christmas period, finishing up my CiM testing notes and pix (these will be up later today) and finishing off with my blog entry.  Back soon with some CiM notes then its sayonara from me for a few days!
